Character Crafting: Designing Expressive Sock Puppets

This workshop is being offered to two different age groups.

Ages 10+ Thursday September 24 4pm-6pm
Ages 18+ Sunday September 27 12pm-2pm

Want to elevate your hand-puppet game? Join puppeteer Amy Kraft for this two-hour workshop, where you’ll transform an ordinary sock into a fully realized character puppet with a constructed mouth, features, hair, and accessories. You’ll also learn the basics of puppet movement and performance to begin bringing your creation to life.

No prior experience is required. Materials will be provided, though participants are welcome to bring a clean sock or special fabric of their own. Please note that participants will use hot-glue guns during the workshop.
