Painting

This is maybe simplifying, but:
Watercolor: Very transparent & free flowing
Gouache: Opaque watercolor, more precise than watercolor, not very free flowing, lovely matte finish
Ink: Very vibrant, a little goes a long way, free flowing, can dilute with water
